The first time I went to visit Gloster House, Owners Tom and Mary Alexander had just opened the doors to invite couples from all around the world to have their wedding at this most spectacular country house in the Irish midlands. 

Walking around the magnificent Georgian house with its baroque decorative plasterwork and high entrance hall, evoked the feeling of being in love and the happiness of couples dancing through the romantic rooms,  decorated with original furniture and painted in soft pastel colours.

It is a unique setting for your wedding in Ireland. A Country house surrounded by French, Italian gardens incorporating terraces, woodland and lake.

Weddings at Gloster House are exclusive. It will be just you, your family and friends celebrating your wedding in a privately owned stately house. Offering a different experience to any other country house wedding venue in Ireland or even in Europe.

This country house has not only the most gorgeous rooms to entertain your guests in but also has an old chapel, painted in a neutral white that can be used as the best back up plan for rainy day ceremonies, late-night party hall or even dining room. The courtyard is decorated with lanterns and fairy lights and is the perfect spot to finish off your unique and exclusive wedding day.
